(Fort Lauderdale).- SBC Summit Americas adds the Payment Expert Summit – a dedicated forum empowering U.S. and LATAM stakeholders to navigate the biggest challenges and seize new opportunities across the evolving payments landscape in the Americas.

How to Navigate the Future of Payment at SBC Summit Americas 2025

The Payment Expert Summit will take place from May 13-15 at the Broward County Convention Center in Florida. This side-summit—ideal for operators, payment providers, fintech leaders, compliance experts, and firms specializing in KYC and AML—will feature a focused conference agenda, exclusive networking spaces, and a dedicated expo floor

Discussing the inclusion of the Payment Expert Summit at SBC Summit Americas, SBC CEO and Founder Rasmus Sojmark said: “Payments are the backbone of player experience. Ensuring payment processes are seamless and safe is critical for trust, loyalty, and long-term growth of businesses.

“With the Payment Expert Summit, we’re creating a space where the brightest minds in payments, fraud, and compliance can come together to share ideas, solve challenges, and shape the future of transactions across North and Latin America.”

The dedicated expo floor will serve as a hub for discovery, product exploration, and relationship-building, giving attendees a front-row seat to the future of financial transactions in gaming. The floor will host some of the biggest players in the Americas payment and compliance sectors, such as Actum Processing, Approvely/Gamble ID, Legitimuz, PayNearMe, Pronto Paga, Signature Payments, StradaCarte, TransUnion, Trustly and Vixio, among many others.

On the educational front, the Payment Expert Summit will deliver a tailored program designed to aid delegates in navigating the evolving payment and compliance landscapes in the regions covered by the event. Across 12 high-impact panels, the agenda will tackle a range of pressing issues—from fraud prevention and compliance to user experience, cross-border payments, and the future of crypto and omnichannel payment systems.

The Payment Leaders Panel: Blocking Bad Customers While Streamlining Good Transactions will provide delegates with critical strategies to combat payment fraud and strengthen defenses. Bringing together senior payment executives Galina Bineva (Commercial Director, OKTO), Sue Page (CEO Americas, Neosurf), Nick Patrick (Co-Founder & CEO, Radar), Trent Striplin (VP, Payments & Fraud, Caesars), and Amit Tzur (Head of LatAm, Veriff), the panel will examine how gaming brands can enhance fraud prevention while preserving a seamless player experience.

The panel titled Strategies for Growth and Cost Reduction in Digital Transactions will offer strategies on how companies can deliver seamless, secure transactions while minimizing costs. Featuring leading payment and fraud specialists John Parsons (VP Gaming, Trustly), Michael Peterson (VP Payments & Fraud, FanDuel), Alejandra Slatapolsky (Co-Founder, Scalto), Joseph Watkins (President of Worldpay Gaming Solutions, Worldpay), and Leighton Webb (VP and General Manager, iGaming and Sports Betting, PayNearMe), the panel will discuss how a player-first approach to payments that focuses on reliability, risk management, and user experience can cut costs and drive long-term growth.

Delivering a forward-looking discussion of digital transactions is the session The Evolution and Future of Payments in Online Gaming. Featuring payments and fintech leaders Andrew Crowe (VP Omnichannel Americas, Nuvei), Tony Fontaine (Executive Consultant), Katie Roberts (VP Digital Gaming, MVB Bank), and Trent Striplin (VP, Payments & Fraud, Caesars), the panel will explore omnichannel growth, crypto integration, and next-generation banking models.

Apart from focusing on all things payments and compliance, SBC Summit Americas will also see the addition of the dedicated Affiliate Leaders Summit. Featuring eight specialised panels, delegates can anticipate discussions covering enhancing player acquisition, SEO, retention, and regulatory challenges. The side summit will also be equipped with a dedicated show floor and networking zones.
